歴史ある日本のファクトリーによる確かな靴作りの元、クラフト感とアバンギャルドを融合させた山本真太郎氏によるKIDS LOVE GAITE。
ロンドンでのシューズデザイナーのアシスタント、帰国後、浅草の靴工場やマグナムでの生産企画等の経験を経て、2008年秋冬よりデビュー。
長年のイギリス生活より影響を受けた、ハウス・オブ・ビューティ＆カルチャーがインスパイアの元。グッドイヤーウェルテッド製法を主軸に、計算されたボリューム感を生み出すオリジナリティ溢れるデザインが特徴のシューズブランド。

1995年 CAMBERWELL COLLEGE OF ARTS入学
1996年 ロンドンのThe Old Curiosity Shopにてシューズデザイナー木村大太と
イアン・リードのアシスタントとして働く。
The Old Curiosity Shopにてインスタレーションを行う。
2000年 帰国 浅草の靴工場に入社。OEMの企画書営業(men’s&lady’s)を担当。
2008年 2008年秋冬コレクションよりKIDS LOVE GAITEをスタート。
2011年 2011年春夏コレクションより、(株)スタイルにて始動。
KIDS LOVE GAITEデザイン、OEM企画等に携わる。
